New England Patriots fans, should they try to get Joey Porter or is he getting to old?

...the Steelers apparently released him...and obviously, the Patriots need some help on defense...

    the patriots don't need help at LB they have multiple great LB's joey porter could just be a distraction for the team.

    I am a pats fan and i can tell you i wouldn't mind having him and he already knows how to play the 3-4 system and i think hes a team guy he would do whats best for his team to win. However its a long shot and he's gonna be a pretty costly palyer on the market and there will be at least three teams who want him.

    i think they should look to get him, he is still a difference maker defensively as a pass rusher, and the patriots continue to get thinner and thinner at LB as their guys get older
