Some do, some don't. It's an option these days called the "Smokers Package" - it depends on whether the dealer ordered cars with this package or not. Some manufacturers may even have stopped offering it altogether, but these are a rarity.

Probably. Whether it has an ashtray or not, that doesn't matter to people who don't care about pollution. Even if it didn't have an ash tray, is it that hard to bring your own in? No. The problem is that the people who do this are just that irresponsible. So, a car can have a dozen ashtrays, that doesn't matter to people who pollute.

Well the ashtray, like the turn signal have now become options on newer cars. I also heard you can buy instant intelligence for those times when the other drivers need to smarten up a bit.

yes cars, have ashtrays in them still, its just a small peice of fiber glass, that economically dispose of its self....i throw my butts out the window all the time, who wants a stinky car?

Yes, but the people who smoke in them are devaluing their car by anything up to and above £1500, as dealers will sometimes have to reupholster them before selling on.

I was in a friends car that had lighters in the backseat.. i was amazed, and in aww.. but he told me they didnt work :( So i pushed it in, and stuck my thumb inside it.. he was wrong it DID work and got stuck to my thumb and melted the skin.. since it was an older lighter it didnt feel warm to the touch on the outside. Maybe thats why they dont have them.. stupid people like me might jam their thumb in. :) oh an i still think your full of shitt. :)

I don't believe they do...I think its terrible how they throw there cigarettes out the window...very disrespectful of other drivers.
