does anyone know where I can submit a movie idea where they would actually read it and seriously consider it?
I had an idea for Forrest Gump 2 and I developed a carefully crafted letter detailing a complete summary of the plot I had in mind from beginning to end. I then emailed the letter to Paramount Pictures, the company that produced the original Forrest Gump. I could actually only find 1 contact email for Paramount Pictures, and it was supposed to be for job inquiries. But I emailed my letter there anyway. All that would be left for Paramount to do would be to work to develop the movie based on the exact plot summary I have given. I must have emailed it like 50 times simultaneously for 3 consecutive days, which I did in June 2006. I even sent another series of emails in January of a letter threatening to sue the company should they use my idea without getting back to me. And to date Paramount Pictures has never gotten back to me about anything. So does anyone know of another company to which I could email my plot summary where they would actually read it and consider it and get back to me?

It doesn't work that way. If you want to submit a script idea, you have to type it up in a certain format and print it out. If it isn't in the proper format they won't even read it, and if you are an unknown writer they may not pay it much attention either. Movie studios get hundreds of unsolicited scripts per year.
Here's a site that I found after a couple seconds of searching that may help you, but I don't know if it's legit.
