Yes I have voted for them IF they are the ones that gave the best answer. AND stated that it came from Winkipedia.

I have even directed people to Google, Winkipedia, and WebMD, with a link if I believe that is the answer they are looking for and have been chosen best answer by them for my answer.

Its OK to copy and paste ( a Little of the info) as long as you give credit and a link to where you found the information.

(Believe it or not MANY people do NOT know how to search Google, Winkipedia, or WebMD and other sites properly.)

Source(s): This time out of my own little head. lol

yes, as long as they actually read what they are cutting and pasting and make sure it is actually relevent to the question. for example, i have seen a question where it was asked what the symptoms for colon cancer was. the answer, cut and pasted, was all about the mortality rate - and had nothing to do with the symptoms.

they should also add some of there own words - ie to explain why they did this or their beliefs as well.

    yes many times

But it is not important a copy paste or a written answer . The important thing is to know what you write or copy pasted I mean giving the right information. At least try to read the thing that you have copy-pasted .

I might have if I wasn't aware that it was a cut and paste.

absolutely but only if it's a "bang on" answer.

sometimes it just saves time and when they embellish it with other urls and snippets of info, they've done the research for me when i don't have the time.

yes you do if the information is helpful to the asker, but you have to mention the source
