What can and can't I pack on my carry-on luggage?
Where can I find the new rules on what I can carry on and what pre-cautions I need to take for certain things I am taking with me?

Before you travel you should go to the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of what is and is not allowed on the aircraft with you in both your checked and carry on luggage.
Hope this helps and have a great trip!

Check your airline's website.
The rules are different for each country, although most places have implemented the "almost no liquids" rule. You can take liquids & gels, but none can be in bottles/tubes of more than 100ml and all liquids and gels must be placed into one sealed plastic bag of a certain size (which isn't very big). As noted above you can't take sharp objects such as scissors, penknives, nail files etc and obviously explosives are still out of the question.
The other change, that many airlines implemented last summer, is a stringent restriction on the size of your carry-on bag and an enforcement that you can only take one bag on board.
All the applicable rules should be on your airline's website but if you're unsure, contact the airline before you pack.

What the airport secure practices considers a liquid is something that differences shape whilst it somewhat is out of the unique packaging - like toothpaste, sunscreen, hand lotion, hair mouse, etc. good deodorant isn't a liquid (i.e. you may wreck it off and it does not substitute the form). the different respondent is employing old suggestions - you may presently have 3.4oz packing containers as lengthy as they in good condition into the quart bag (you may have as many packing containers as will in good condition). in case you employ liquid drugs like touch lens answer, those could be any length field. If it has formerly been opened, the secure practices could do a attempt on it (positioned a dab on a cotton ball and positioned it in a gadget). you need to use as many packing containers as you prefer :-) no greater advantageous can charge.
