Have you tried FireFox?
You can have them both installed, and you might like it - since you're in transition, give it a shot.
I didn't like IE7 either.

I also have a a table good and a laptop. the two are somewhat older than a year old, the two have XP expert. Explorer 7 works wonderful on them. yet some people older structures utilising XP have mentioned problems with the hot version. in case you may choose for to objective a browser with very comparable constructive components as Explorer 7 attempt Firefox.

If you don't like internet explorer you can go into start, control panel and then into add/remove programs and you will see internet explorer 7 and you click on it and then remove and uninstall it from your system and it once you restart your computer it will show up as internet explorer 6 again.

Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall IE7, and IE6 will automatically be put back on.
