Hi there. Peanut butter may work but then you are stuck with an oil stain. Here are two ways that work without damaging the silk. Dab raw egg white on the area for 10 minutes and work the gum out. Launder on gentle with cool water and the egg white easily comes out. Placing the comforter in a freezer for an hour will harden the gum and make it easy to come out. If this is too impractical, put an ice pack on the area on both sides for an hour for the same effect and gently scrape off with a butter knife. Have a nice weekend.

Peanut butter or rubbing alcohol will do the trick fo shizzle. I'm a kindergarten teacher, I have altogether waaay too much fun with this stuff.
