Can you get Mothering Sunday cards?

The 18th of Feb is Mothering Sunday, although it's original meaning has been lost to a certain extent and in the UK it is erroneously referred to as Mothers Day, and treated as such. Whereas Mothers Day is American and celebrated I believe on the 14th of May (irrespective of the day of the week), I have so far not been able to find a card acknowledging it as Mothering Sunday, guess I will have to make my own

Yes you can and its on the 18th of March, find a good card shop, not a cheap one and you should be able to get a Mothering Sunday card rather than a Mothers day card, or you could go on line and look for one of these places that either make the card for you, or sell you the things you need to make cards yourself.

    Good Luck

Shop for cards a year or months in advance or make your own extra special card.

I think you will find a selection in the UK of cards that say Mothering Sunday and Mother's Day, you can even opt to purchase one with wording of your own choice, (if you did internet search and ordered in advance allowing enough time).

I have managed to find Mothering Sunday cards this year in amongst the many Halmark Holiday cards. It appears to be another religious holiday spoilt by Capitalist Card companies.

    > The 18th of Feb is Mothering Sunday

Who says? It's not in the Bible. Neither are Lent, Easter, and Christmas. Nor is Sunday. These are all as imaginary as the Pink Panther, and rather less fun, imv.

'Do not go beyond the Scripture.'

    Mother's Day is ok.

It isconventionally referred to as Mother's day- I don't know why you attach particular significance to the term Mothering Sunday.
