I have been accused.....?

Is it right to accuse me of being gay just because I spend a lot of time in answering questions in the gay, lesbian and Bi-sexual category?

    No it isn't.

But you must understand that most folks that answer here are either GLBT, gay friendly. or bigots.

If your answers are intelligent and well thought out and you really care about the folks in this section, I for one, see no reason why people should call you something you're not.

    It's a free speech forum-enjoy.

I happen to be a lesbian.

No not really. You could be a dude into lesbians. Who knows? People should not accuse anyone of anything anytime because they do not know the way everyone thinks. How can they. But the answer to your question. No. I'll only think your gay if you say you are.

It could be asked legitimately how you got your information about homosexuality if you were not a participant in the community. It could also be asked what causes your interest. And hanging out in this means you have chosen this category over all possible other diversions for your time.

The same question would be asked of someone who decided to spend every evening drinking in a gay bar rather than another establishment. Don't consider it an accusation. Consider it an assumption. If you don't like people assuming you're one of us, stop wearing the uniform.

NO not right at all, even if you are, thats your business. Firstly you are a person there is a whole lot of things that go into the make up of a person.

Sexuality is a small part of what makes up a person. Wheather your gay or strait you have emotions & feelings, people should respect those emotions & feelings.

Your sexuality is your business unless you want others to know it.

For me I dont mind people knowing my sexuality, im a gay boy, once they know for sure, it aint so much fun for people to accuse you of being gay.

They cant hurt me & thats what really gets them. Its better to have love than no love at all....Dont let it bother you please.... David :)xxx

I would have to say that spending time in the LGBT section makes you gay and if your not gay (which you are) then you will become gay because the gay can rub off and make you gay but I think you are already gay. gay gay gay...

It’s so wonderful being a gay person. I said that before. I’m going to say it again. I love being gay. And I love gay people. I think we’re better than other people. I really do. I think we’re smarter and more talented and more aware and I do, I do, I totally do. And I think we’re more tuned in to what’s happening, tuned into the moment, tuned into our emotions, and other people’s emotions, and we’re better friends. I really do think all of these things. And I try not to forget them.

Was it suggested, or were you accused? Because as far as I'm concerned, an accusation is only that because of a guilty conscience. (And I'm not implying that you're gay, just pointing out the difference.)

No it's not right to accuse you, maybe your just curious and want to comment on questions in the category.

Nope. It just means that maybe you are curious about it or want to learn about it, but not possibly be a bisexual. It's totally alright, don't worry what the others think. The person that knows you best is yourself. =)

No. That is a logical fallacy called guilty by association.
