They should maybe distinguish MMA and Martial Arts. I always come to the martial arts section and search for questions concerning Pride and UFC...having its own categorie would be great.

I agree 100% with your point. I come on here to check for UFC, Pride, and general MMA questions, there should be an MMA category. It is tough sorting throw questions about standard old school martial arts(nothing wrong with them) and questions about Bruce Lee.

Yes there should be a Mixed Martial Arts category under sports, hell cricket, golf, handball, even pool have a category, none of those are really sports but MMA is and sells more tickets in one event than any of those "sports" do all year.

I would stop the BS thats for sure
I just know kids are reading this and well
I care if you like me
I care what they percieve as a correct path
Not that it is not
just not at 5 - 12
I think all parents, teachers and mentors should push school first at that age
I wish mine did
I heard some talk of maturity here
Do you know kids read this??
I act as I see
To train in a traditional art is better for that age, then MMA style to fight well..... That is the point you all make right??
Tha was Lidell's way right?

no - I think it's okay to have MMA as part of martial arts...this way sa novice coming on for answers will be taken to a catagory where they can see , as you say, old and traditional things, too. It's important to know where things have come from to truelly understand them - for martial arts & all walks of life.

see your point, I come here to see stuff on MMA but it's mostly traditional content. MMA is current equals more prevalent in today's society. At most MMA should be a sub-section/ also the point underneath by autumn is valid

Well alot of times there is mutual interest. I don't think you really need a seperate section. Its like Football you could divide it up in NFL and CFB but it is still close enough.
