What is your favorite kind of squash?

I live off of yellow crook necks and white patty pan squash in the summer, I grow a lot of it and give it away too. I slice it up with onion, green pepper and garlic and saute it in olive oil....so very very good. I don't have much experience with those winter squashes.

Zucchini

I love all squash (squashes, squashi?) except for (uh, oh) spaghetti squash. It's ok, just not my favorite. In fact, I think I'll go cook one now. I have a butternut waiting for me in the kitchen. I just cook them and eat them plain, right out of the skin.

Just yellow squash cooked over the stove is good with salt, pepper, and butter.

anyway, my favorite is butternut. I roast them and add brown sugar and butter. mmmmm
