How do I get out of full screen mode when playing video on media player?

When I play a video it automaticall goes to full screen. I've tried the escape button but that doesn't work. The only thing that I can do is turn computer off and start over again.

Escape should have exited the video out of full screen mode. Move the mouse and hit the button at the top right that's after the pin-looking one. That should get out of full-screen mode. If nothing works, then just hold the Alt key and then push F4 at the same time to exit the program after you have seen the video.

right click on the video and choose "exit full screen mode". then you can go to media player options and tell MP not to start video in full screen.

Double click on the Page of MP and it should change

Then go to options, or see the two icons below the upper pane and set those to what you want at the time
