why is Phil. one of only two countries in the world where divorce is illegal ? Annulment fees to the church ?
In every other country the some of the fees for divorce go to the state. But as long as it is not legal the only option (for those who can afford it ) is annulment,which is just a divorce granted from the chuch,then the chuch gets that money tax free. Fair ?

That is what happens when a country has a "national religion". That is what happens when you have a "Christian nation".....
That is one reason why church and state must be kept separate.
