No period?
Im 38, had my tubes tied last july and this month I had no period. I feel fine. Im wondering if I really need to see a Dr right now? Am I too young to start going through the change? My mom stopped having her periods at 40.

I think that you should wait one more month before you go see a doctor. I remember skipping periods at that age, but then having them resume after that. (especially if you are going through some type of stress, etc)

Not having your period can be caused by a number of things. Sometimes something as seemingly unrelated as a lot of stress, lack of sleep, or big life changes can cause one to skip a period.
Sometimes early menopause runs in the family. Check with the other women in your family.
Also, I'm not sure if it's possible or not, but might want to at least try a pregnancy test if you've had unprotected sex. It's probably not unheard of even with tubes tied.
