If McClung gets cut, Who will be the Devil Rays Closer?

am in a very competitive fantasy baseball league and need to react before the news is official. I have seth mcclung but both tampa papers seem to think he will not make the team. I want to drop him and pick up whoever is most likely to close for the rays. Miceli? Orvella?

Update:

Jay

My team is awesome and a favorite to win the league .. i have street as a closer and mcclung is my only weak spot

If i'm not mistaken, Miceli DID close some games last year...so with that being said, I would think Miceli would be the short-term closer...either way, I'm sorry you need to rely on a TB closer for your fantasy league!

If you are that desparate, then react to this - Dustin Hermanson will probably get the closer job for the Reds. He will not be listed on Yahoo until just after midnight on 4-1 when the Reds have to list a 25 man roster. Also, stay tuned to the SF closer situation. They have been trying to trade Benitez and I think they are hoping for Brian Wilson to fill the spot - and I didn't know any of the Beach Boys played ball..

But the surprise of the year could be Turnbow, keep your eye on that one. He was good until he lost his mind, they want him to be there closer for a long time. Look for the Brewers to find a place to get him back in the saddle. If he gets his mind right and has fixed his mechanics he could finish the year as the closer in time to get 20 to 25 saves. They may try to trade Cordero, the best fit would be TB but they don't trade their rookie talent for over paid veterans. So the first closer injury could be the winner. And Ryan Theriot or Felix Pie from Chicago might look good in place of Jenkins if he is not hitting.

NEVER CHASE SAVES!!! That is 1 piece of advice I can give you. On any given year roughly 10 closers lose their jobs. You can pick up the pieces, or you can make up the other categories in different ways. Saves are sexy, but don't chase it and never overpay for it. Remember....it's only 1 category.
