Are there any Japanese Maple trees that like full sun in zone 6?

Do any Japanese Maple trees tolerate full sun in zone 6 or do they all need a shady location? I would like a tree that is 15-25 feet but it will not recieve any shade. Thanks for the help!!! :)

Japanese Maples prefer dappled shade. I do not know of a Japanese Maple cultivar that likes full sun.

You can get an acer rubrum which is a red maple and will tolerate full sun--even it will get burnt leaves in the heat of summer. The maple you want has to have some protection from the elements and shade.
