Will getting a tattoo irritate my excema?
I've had excema since I was 14 pretty much everywhere. It used to be severe, but I would say it's moderate now. Do you think getting a tattoo will irriate it?

It didn't irritate either of mine, there was no difference what-so-ever.

I have been battling excema for many years and for the last couple of years uticaria and angiodema. I have started a detox and lliver cleanse program now and you cannot believe the things that have come thru my skin. I have a tattoo on my back that is always swollen and raised around the lining. I know that hhving excema is some thing that has exasperated the tattoo.MY suggestion is to cleanse yyour body of any toxicity first and take it from there. good luck to you. Gina

Yes, my partner has psoriasis and the tattoo artist who did his tattoos warned him that it would cause it to aggrivate the skin condition. The tattoo artist was also a sufferer and said he often had flare ups due to his tattoos and this also would aggrivate excema too.
Didnt stop either getting their tatts I hasten to add, it just meant discomfort with the reaction for a while.

It is possible that it could happen, but if you took good care of the tattoo until it's fully healed you should be ok.
Good luck with the tatt.

If you can go to The Ocean or Bay and swim alot you will rid yourself of this skin disorder, plus some Medication maybe
necessary.Tattoo is optional, skin is first thing to heal.
