Halle Berry and Beyonce are Black and Beautiful? Why do people keep stating this lie?

Halle Berry is not BLACK!!!  She has a white mother and a black father.  Beyonce's mother certainly isn't all black, and Beyonce herself has Europian features.  People keep trying to be polictically correct, but stop lying about what you think is beautiful.  Obviously the majority of the USA does not find the classic features of a black women beautiful, or else we would hear people using them for examples of beauty instead of these mixed, light bright and almost white girls as the standard.  We like certain people in our movies to play the main roles, and certainly the women are rarely ever fat, just like they rarely are ever dark-skinned black.

This is a calling, a contest even for anyone that can name some actual black beautiful women in Hollywood.  But be aware, almost 80% of them are not all black.  Naomi Cambel is parcially asian, Alicya Keys, Vanessa Williams, new Ms America, Tatyana Ali, etc are all mixed.  No women like Beyonce that have Europian features either please!

First off everyone in America is mixed with something, Yes even you, depending on how long your family has been here. Second beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it is only skin deep. It is a persons personality that makes them a beautiful person and nothing else. Third NO WOMEN, and I do mean no women fits the media stereotype of beauty in real life, we all no matter what race or size have our flaws. The only people that believe everything that they see in the media are children and idiots. I wonder which one you are.

The majority of their features are black, but black isnt always dark it's light to super dark. Yes I agree about the fact they keep saying black when in fact Halle, Alicia Keys, Vanessa Williams, and others are all biracial. America is coming to terms with mixed race people and mixed race everything. I am a black woman with European ancestry as well as Native American. Dorothy Dandridge and Josephine Baker were two very beautiful black women of their time.

The race of the child is determined by the race of the father according to todays laws.  These women are considered as African American.  And the reason the media uses light skinned people of African descent is because they believe those people photograph better.  It is wrong but that's the way it is.  I call it the light to white rule.

Race is a social construct. To put it bluntly if you were stopped by the police and they said "Freeze n*gger" and they could be talking to you then you are black no matter what you are mixed with.

I understand what you're saying too. But everyone has a right to be beautiful in they're own way -- and if they aren't proud of thier white heritage and only thier black then let it be that way.
