there was a Carlsberg advert where all these guys and girls where in a pub, and the song was "Make me smile(come up and see me)" by Cockney rebel and they all come out of the pub at closing and it has been snowing, and you get a wide shot of the town covered in snow , the music pauses and a bird flies across and then its starts up again with them running into the street.

That's one that really sticks in my mind cause the snow scene looked gorgeous and i love the song also.

The second favourite was one done many years ago by Wella for their shampoo Wella Flex and it was very arty, done in Black and White and had a lot of men doing back flips and jumps and some woman washing her hair and doing all the usual "flip back your hair in slow motion" but it was just so cool and there was a cut version and the full length version which was about 2 Min's long and id love to see it again.

The most popular advert was the Guinness advert with the surfers and the horses"tick followed tock followed tick followed tock"

the old Nescafe gold blend adverts with Anthony Head and Sharon Maughn. It was like a mini soap opera and each new advert I'd be wishing they'd get together but fate would always intervene. Then on the very last advert it finaly happened! I was so happy when I found the whole lot together on You Tube a while ago and downloaded them onto my iPod...something to watch on the way to work. Must be the old romantic in me!

Failing that it would have to be the Real Fires advert with the cat, dog and mouse that are sitting in front of the fire with The Shirelles Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow playing in the background...ah the memories!! Adverts were so much better in the 80's/early 90s.

One that still makes me laugh when I remember it is the RWhites ad where the guy (a cross between Roy Orbison and Mr Muscle) comes dancing down the stairs singing I'm A Secret Lemonade Drinker

About a year ago there was a programme called 'Top 100 Adverts' and the one which came out on top and the most popular was the British Gas advert with the Bull Dog, cat and mouse sitting in front of the gas fire. That's my favourite as well.

I love the 'Dont Rain on my Parade' car advert one that is about at the moment. It has cars doing somersaults, jumping through hoops etc. Just want to jump up and dance when it is on.

Also loved the 'Spaceman' themed Levis advert from the early nineties. Alien girl crashes spaceship in her front garden and emerges wearing sparkly bikini top and Levis.

Song by Babylon Zoo (long since sunk without a trace!)

I used to like the ads that told a little story like the OXO family, the John Smiths ones with the performing dog, the Cinzarno ones with Joan Collins, the Bisto Kids, Hovis...they were a real portrayal of Britian with rainy weather and Sunday dinners. Now ads are made to appeal to all ethnicities they aren't traditionaly British any more.

The one for PG tips tea with the chimpanzees (more tea Mr Shifter!) where they are trying to move a piano down the stairs. The son says "Dad the Piano's on my foot" and the dad replies " You hum it son and I'll play it" well it was funny at the time!

There was this promo for Lost that was going to be broadcasted on Channel 4. All of the cast members are dressed up and dancing and looking like they were drugged up before the shoot. You can find it on YouTube.
