Are any movies starring pro wrestlers any good at all?

As much as I am a fan of wrestling... no, not really, they almost always suck (at least when the wrestler in question is in a leading role). Roddy Piper did a couple of OK ones, They Live being a notable cult favourite, if only for THAT fight scene. As aforementioned, The Rocks ones have tended to be OK. That's about it really. And no, before anyone mentions it, each and every last one of Hulk Hogans movie sucked the bullet. There's also never been a good film ABOUT wrestling either, regardless of whether it had any actual wrestlers in it or not.

I think the movies are good if the wrestlers don't take themselves too seriously. The answerer above mentioned "The Princess Bride", which is a great movie. Hulk Hogan also made several comedies which were pretty good. But the newer movies "starring" wrestlers feature them in roles that are very serious, a stretch for most of them.

The Rundown and Scorpion King were ok. So was Gridiron Gang. Avoid Doom at all costs though. It is one of the worst movies ever made. Anything with Hogan sucks. Triple H has a small part in Blade: Trinity which is a decent movie.

See No Evil with Kane was alright

The Marine with Cena was terrible

The Condemed with Stone Cold looks like it will be ok

All of the ones with The Rock in them were good. He's the only accomplished actor in the WWE. Stone Cold isn't too bad either.

Favorites: Friday & next Friday (ZEUS) : ok, a real wrestler The Rundown & The Gameplan (The Rock) Least: waiting 2 Rumble (countless WCW Wrestlers): I purely discovered it humorous because i became 12 and stupid. 3 Ninjas: intense midday at Mega Mountain (Hulk Hogan) This movie is extra valuable off forgotten.

I actually thought that See No Evil with Kane was pretty good for a horror movie, actually had a storyline unlike a lot of movies in the genre here lately.

The best movie is The Princess Bride.

Try finding Hell Comes to Frogtown with Rowdy Roddy Pipper. Its so bad its good.

The Princess Bride is a great movie and it has Andre the Giant in it. Suburban Commando is an above average comedy starring Hulk Hogan.

I have a feeling that Stone Cold's movie will be better than The Marine and See No Evil put together!!!
