Misrepresentation of Employment?

I work for a company that is 46 miles from my house. The description of my job does not match what I do on a daily basis. If I get fired can I sue for Misrepresentation of Employment?

Update:

I have asked them to give me more things to do since I have done all the things I have found that needed to be done.

Guess I will just twiddle my thumbs clockwise this week

If you have a written job description with only specific duties listed and can prove you don't do any of that on a daily basis then yes, but most job descriptions have clauses that state something about "and other duties as needed" or something along those lines which relieves your employer of misrepresentation.

No! There is no such thing as misrepresentation of employment! Why is everybody so anxious to sue someone? Suing for misrepresentation involves you being harmed by something that was not clear to you or was hidden from you. In what way have you been harmed by your job?

If there is a discrepancy in what you do and the job description you should ask your boss about it. They may give you more work or different work or they may change the job description.

Probably. Check out other job descriptions and find one that matches what you are required to do on a daily basis. If the description is for a higher paying job, demand and increase in pay.
