I received a mail from Yahoo-Microsoft about a prize.is it genuine?

Question

This is the mail I received.
"This is to inform you that you have won a prize money of Eighty Four Thousand, Five Hundred Great Britain Pounds (GBP84,500) for the Year 2007  Prize Promotion which is Organized by YAHOO AWARDS  & WINDOWS LIVE.

YAHOO! collects all the email addresses of the people that are active online, among the millions that subscribed to Yahoo and Hotmail and few from other e-mail providers. Six people are selected monthly to benefit from this promotion and you are one of the Selected Winners."

Is this genuine or some fraud?

My friend, this is a spam, these days many yahoo customers are facing this problem and asking questions about them here you can find it here. 

              This a spam by spammers or advertising media or a fake squad and nothing to do with Yahoo and Microsoft, this time there is no such offer is going on, so please neglect these mails and mark them as spam and dont open it!
