Internet providers?
Austinites: what company do you get your high speed internet service from, and are you pleased with it? I need to switch and am lost in all the options. I have found timewarner to be very unreliable, and it looks like you have to be an att customer to get att internet. Roadrunner is expensive. I'm looking at Earthlink. Advice? Thanks.

UGH Stay away from Time Warner!
They have decent prices for NEW customers, but once you've been there a year they raise it way way up. Ours went from $109 a month (with one movie channel) to $204 a month JUST because we are customers for over a year. Nice way to reward loyalty!
Six months ago we switched to Dish Network with ATT DSL and I couldn't be happier. For less than $100 a month I have EVERY SINGLE movie channel known to man, the MOST high def channels out there, and faster than cable DSL. They also give me a little money off my Cingular/ATT cell phone.
The only time I've had issues with service are the two days it was frozen...I got a little static but nothing I couldn't get over.
