Best low cost printer?

I need some recomendation with buying a new printer. My main purpose is only for printing black and white document.

Main concern is the cost of the ink cartridge - as low as possible

and if it's refillable

if its for black and white only, Id say find a cheap laser printer, not only will you not have to deal with ink, a toner cartridge (depending on model) can last anywhere from 1000 pages to 5000 or more, my Samsung (got at best buy on sale for $60) lasts 3000 pages per toner cartridge, and you can get a new toner cartridge (at least i can) online for about $25 Of course they have color laser printers, but they range a lot higher in costs.

You don't need to buy a new printer, You can buy a refurbish laser printer for less than $100.00 dollars and fora new toner cartridge for $60. you can print at least 5000 pages if you use 300 dpi setting.

I will not recommend refilled toner cartridge they tend to spill toner powder which will cause poor print quality.

check into laser printers (hp makes really good ones), or if you're only looking for home use, try canon.

canon inkjet carts are the cheapest to refill and the easiest (but only if you get a printer with more than 2 cartridges), while hp laserjet toners are the easiest to find.

mostly it depends on your volume of printing. lower volume, get a canon inkjet. higher volume, get an hp lasetjet.

What I would do is go to wal-mart then I would look at the inks and see what black ink is the cheapest. I would then look at the ink packaging and it should say what printers can use that ink. Then buy one of those and get it refilled at a ink store.
