Lymph Node or Jaw Cancer? YOU DECIDE!?

On the left side of my jaw I have a painful hard lump under the skin. It seems to be the size and shape of a teardrop. I can move it slightly (maybe a cm in each direction). It is not acne- much deeper in the skin.

It has the movement and overall feel of a lymph node (only way smaller and in my jaw). I am currently sick with very swollen nodes.

So.... jaw cancer or lymph node?

Update:

Also.. I have a dentist appt April 24th. Should I see the doctor before this?

it's your lymph node. cancer nodules rarely are movable. pain is associated with infection, not cancer.

Could just be an infection nodule. Keep the dentist appt.

Neither. It's probably a stone. I have one on the right side between my jaw and tongue.

infected salivary gland? Salivary gland stone? Check with your doctor! Good luck!

Sounds like a salivary stone to me. My dad had that.

Neither, sounds like a fat globule has developed. If it doesn't grow and isn't painful, ignore it. I had two like that and they eventually absorbed into my system. Hope you get to feeling better. God bless.
