Does Anyone Know of a home cure for a sino-ear infection???
I am coming down with what I think is an ear infection. My right nostil is stuffy, my sinuses under my right eye ache and there is a gurgling sound in my right ear. (It itches too.) Whenever I swallow, I feel something draining into my throat. I do have health insurance but I don't want to take the day off from work to go to the doctor if I am able to treat this infection at home.

pseudophedrine. it should dry up the ear canal, and help with the runny nose. if you get a chesty cough, be seen. it could turn into pneumonia if you don't get it taken care of. find a walk-in clinic that accepts after-hours patients if this doesn't help within a week.

Unless you have a doctor at home to diagnose you and a pharmacy with the right antibiotic, you cannot treat otitis media or sinusitis at home. See a doctor. Why in the world would you have to take an entire day off to do this???

for sinus infection: nasal lavage, get a baby bottle with sterile boiled water, let it cool, mix with salt. shoot it up your nose. take ibuprofen with phenylnephrine and an antihistamine.
if you have a cold then take sicam. i know that is not spelled correctly.
antibiotics are they recommended route however.
