Why do my answers get reported?

I think the person who wrote take cocaine reported you and you got booted automatically. They cant possibly look at each individual report and have a human decide weather or not it is a viable report or not. so I think they have an boot program to cut any answer that gets reported.

I would say your answer got taken off by mistake and

that the cocaine answer was the one they meant to

give the boot. If you have any hints on how to lose weight

let me know. I have started walking everyday and I

do aerobics every other day but is there anything else I

I had the same thing happen when I started...and I didn't know why.

I asked Yahoo...no response.

One of the top contributors told me not to worry and just delete that when you get Yahoo's violation.

You won't get a reason. You may have used a word that the immature people don't like and they will "zap" you all the time.

People mess around on this site. There are people like you who give honest and helpful answers. Then there are people who are bored and go around to the Yahoo team reporting you for no reason. I don't think they read his comments or your answers they just remove what ever was reported. I know it sucks and there is nothing you can do about it.

I've had some answers reported for bogus reasons too, it was probably the "cocaine" guy that did it, that would be my first guess.. either that or someone else who answered that was afraid they wouldn't get best answer because yours was better, I've seen that happen too.. I figured it out and confronted one of them (via email of course) lol

Could be many reasons, you have upset someone and they are reporting you for the sake of it. Your answer was the best one and someone else felt threatened by your answer cos you prob would ahve been chosen as best answer and they reported you so it would be deleted and they win or it could be which i doubt but the asker or another user felt it was offensive

i agree with the others, someone was just being mean or they made a mistake. it happens. why don't you appeal to yahoo?

to everyone else: some of you need to access the facts and use a little logic before you publicly accuse others of filing false reports. :(

Maybe because they knew that being a Scot, your answer was a lie. There's only one fit Scotsman out there and it's me!

If you think your situation is weird, what about mine? Someone asked how to burn off fat and I suggested they take a header into an active volcano and for some inexplicable reason I got my answer reported as well! There's no rhyme nor reason to it... lol

somebody was just being a jerk or maybe they thought you were spamming. the answer team doesn't regulate which answers get reported. maybe whoever reported you thought they were reporting someone else.

Sorry fella i think they are the only ones to answer that one!! Its a funny old world eh?
