Do you think this is harsh?

1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools,

no special ballots for elections, and all government business

will be conducted in our language.

2. Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote, no matter how

long they are here.

3. Foreigners will NEVER be able to hold political office.

4. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No

welfare, no food stamps, no health care, nor any other government

assistance programs.

5. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an

amount equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.

6. If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be

okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed to own

waterfront property.

7. Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreighn flag. 8. If you are thought to be here illigally you will be hunted down and jailed immidetly. These are just a few of MEXICO'S laws regarding legal and illigal immigration.

I'm stunned. Not at the Mexican laws; I've known that for a while. I'm stunned that REnate failed to even see that these are the laws of MEXICO.

Any Central or South American will tell you that the worst of La Migra (immigration enforcement) are those in Mexico at THEIR southern border. Get through Mexico to the Rio Grand and it's all smooth sailing.

I'm proud that our Minuteman volunteers are required to take an oath decrying any hint of racism (in fact, many are Spanish-speaking Mexican-Americans...but, LEGAL, and they speak perfect English).

Most of the organizations I've spoken with even conduct background checks: if you've ever been a member of the KKK, Aryan Brotherhood or any other white supremacist organization, don't bother applying; they'll find out and you'll BE out.

I can't wait to see more enforcement at the border. And I look forward to charitable organizations and economic alliances that will allow us to VOLUNTARILY help towns and cities to the south build their economies. Not with that NAFTA or SPP nonsense. But with clear lines of containment. Because good fences make good neighbors.

The problem is that many people have fake documents saying they are legally here/born here, so the social services think they are legit. Illegals vote anyways, eventhough they're not supposed to. All that's asked is if they have photo ID (driver's license) Bilingualism is the only thing I disagree on partially. Knowing a second or third language can get you far in places, especially on the international world. I agree that gov't business should be in the official language of that gov't. Would someone go to another country and expect to find English sign if it wasn't a national language?

Those laws are much tougher than America's laws, and I am sure that in Mexico they actually enforce their immigration laws. America should make English the National Language, and we should make sure that anyone who wants to become a citizen is fluent in English. This multilingual craze that the liberals are pushing on us will result in a disunited USA. We must teach children in public schools standard American English; bilingual education has been shown to be a failure.

Here dear, blow off some steam by going to Numbersusa.com alipac.com, and fairus.com. Other Web sites are listed below: What you are proposing is almost exactly like the Mexican Constitution.

We should have similiar laws. Nationalize the property of all Mexican Nationals in the US to pay for governmental costs due to mexican illegals (like Mexico did with the US oil company property).

And do the same for all other countries!

This is not too harsh and exactly what the U.S.A. needs to keep it's Constitution and laws intact. Isn't it strange that Mexico has NO respect for our laws along with President Bush and his Whitehouse gang?

No, it isn't harsh. It is called respecting the country, these should be the very laws in these United States!

No, not at all to harsh, and ours need to be just as harsh. But in this country, to many bleeding heart liberals, and the good ole ACLU. I can just hear them now, oh boo hoo, how can you be so mean to poor people, just looking for a better life.

  • 1 decade ago

Not harsh at all, they are the laws of a sovereign country. If I decided to move there, I'd follow them to the letter. If I thought they were too harsh, I'd make it a point to avoid that country at all costs.

See how that works? I'd be willing to abide by the laws of another country (or face the consequences), while those that come here do all they can to change ours......

Everyone that is agrees with this is WRONG. We are America not Mexico. We are who we are because of all of the immigrants that have come to our country over time. You are all closed minded and the reason that our country will not prosper beyond what it is.
