Has anyone received an email supposedly from Paypal ??
This email advised that you have an order for $390.00 (mine had this amt) from Amazon. It has a place to click if this is not your order, but when I click there, a warning comes up on my computer that this site may contain viruses. Was wondering if this is going around a lot and also warn ya if you get something like this.

This has happened to me several times. I know all about this scam. I fell victim to it myself. I did just as it said to dispute the charges. They then had my pay pal account #, which was also my checking account number. Now they had access to my bank accounts. I called pay pal the next day, and they explained how the whole thing was a scam to get your personal information so they could take your money and identity. I had to change everything bank wise and I even changed my email password to be on the safe side. This is a big scam. All you have to do to be sure if this is truly on your pay pal account is, type in pay pal on your computer and go directly to your pay pal site. If you were charged, it will be there.

I don't think Amazon would send this sort of email. Your anti-virus program is protecting you. If you want to check, type the Amazon address into your browser and check on their genuine site

the simple fact is that if u get a mail from paypal, you should have an idea on what that mail is all about.
if it is a mail you have no idea what it is about... just check what site you land on clicking that link.
it should go to some page on PAYPAL.COM.
