Why is it that everyone expects diversity and inclusion, but other groups are so quick to exclude Christians?

Which groups are you talking about?
The most inclusive groups I've ever know are Interfaith Councils. Largely, though, Christians "include themselves out" of such inclusive groups, citing their very inclusivity as the reason why.
I joined my local Interfaith Council a number of years ago. There was a Christian minister who left shortly after, as he wouldn't participate because the council accepted a Witch as a member.
There was another Christian minister who left after there was a change in the Imam who attended- the previous Imam had been what I'd describe as an "Abrahamic solidarity" Muslim (he was pro-Jewish, pro-Christian, and pro-Islam and anti- everything else), the new one was tolerant and accepting of all religions.
But maybe that's not what you meant. Maybe you mean including Christians in our religious life, like Christians invite everyone to come to their church?
At various times in my own personal religious practice, I have included Christians on the invitation list to attend our religious ceremonies and celebrations. Some have attended, most have declined. They excluded themselves.
Some of them were, in fact, visibly repulsed by the idea of attending, although they seemed astonished that everyone wouldn't want to attend *their* religious ceremonies.
So what are you griping about?

Tolerance only extends to their own beliefs or lack of them. For example, look at all the atheists that come here and keep saying christians are trying to convert them. If you'll notice by many of the questions, there's many more atheists either insulting, or trying to educate us illiterate fools into believing in nothing just like they do, than you see christians trying to convert anyone. I think that puts them in the very same category they're accusing us of. I personally don't believe in trying to convert anyone, and I'd appreicate the same courtesy. As far as I'm concerned, the spreading of the word is done, I don't know anyone who hasn't heard of Jesus, if they choose to deny Him, thats what free will is all about.
This site has become nothining more than a hatemongering site, as you can clearly see from many of the answers. Look at Spike, the one who said christianity is a dictatorship, led by the pope! This person doesn't even know the difference between catholic and other denominations. All christians aren't catholic anymore than all atheists are idiots.
And Kilthy darlin, you are very confused. If we didn't believe our own religion was right, we wouldn't be in them. Muslims wouldn't be muslim, buddists wouldn't be buddist, hindu's wouldn't be hindu's and christians wouldn't be christian. To attack a religion because they think they're right is simply illogical. Thinking whatever we believe in is the right way is the whole point. Exclusion is an entirely different thing. Christians are usually (with the exception of the rabid fundies and evangelicals), very open to others. Its the rabid groups, even the rabid atheists, that cause the exclusion of many.

Look... people DO NOT CARE WHAT RELIGION YOU ARE. They just want you to butt out. Christians are fine so long as they butt out. The moment they try to interfere with other peoples lives is the moment they get excluded from the "diversity and inclusion".

The problem is the the majority of christians come off as closed minded bigots. They are really quick to point out what's wrong with other people. They have a holier than thou complex that is really hard for the rest of the world to see past

An exclusive religion such as Christianity exclude themselves. The "Only Way" idea alone is incompatible with other religions. You can't claim to be "set apart from the world" and WANT to be part of it. You can't claim all other religions are false, yet want to be included in it.
IF another religion came out with the same ideas *The Only Way* or *We are not part of the World* or *No other religion is correct but mine*... it would automatically be excluded from everything else based on it's own claims. No one from outside of the religion excluded it. It excludes itself.

Because there are too many of you.
If we invited you guys to a nice little atheist function it would quickly turn into an atheist bashing.
Especially since we're only 6% of the population (according to some religious dude on tv yesterday).

Well, it's like a keg party: we invited everybody to come over and have fun, but the Christians decided they didn't want to drink beer.
So, OK, fine. We're not forcing you to drink beer, and we're not forcing you to come to our party. You're welcome to come if you want to, and you can abstain from drinking if you like.
But this wasn't enough for the Christians. They decided not only would THEY not attend a keg party, but that everybody else's keg party should be turned into...a Bible study. Whether anybody else liked it or not.
Does this analogy help?

Because many Christians reject diversity and inclusion.

Because Christianity has no room for questions. It's a dictatorship and the Pope is the dictator.....and DON'T ASK ANY QUESTIONS. They tell you "just believe what we tell you and keep your mouth shut." We're right and everyone who doesn't agree with us is heading south to h*ll.

I exclude anyone who bases his/her life on superstition. So I exclude equally in that respect, christian or scientologist.
