4 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWhy does my dog scratch so much?
I have a 5 month old Rottweiller/Lab mix that has scratched herself since I got her when she was about 7 weeks old. I mentioned it to the vet who recommended an oatmeal based shampoo. This has not helped. She has no fleas or ticks. Any help is appreciated.

"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."
How have we gotten so far from what the founding fathers of our contry intended? Do we really want to continue down the road of moral decay?

Will you pray with others corporately, spend time in private prayer or both?

9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoWhen will we realize?
Mary had a little Lamb
His fleece was white as snow
And every where that Mary went
The Lamb was sure to go
He followed her to school each day,
Twasn't even in the rule.
He made the children laugh and play
to have a Lamb at school.
And then the rules changed one day,
Illegal it became,
To bring the Lamb of God to school
Or even speak His Name.
Everyday got worse and worse,
Days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh,
We heard gunshots and tears.
What must we do to stop the crime
That's in our schools today?
Let's let the Lamb of God come back to school
And teach our kids to pray.

No, the Davinci Code does NOT count as historical evidence.
23 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFor Christians. . .How can we expect to win over nonchristians if we are spiteful or rude in our anwsers?
I realize that many of the comments made by nonbelievers here are rude and offensive, however, we should never respond in kind. Remember the words of our Master.
Matthew 10:16 MKJV Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow can I house train a large breed puppy?
I have had her about six weeks and as long as I am very attentive and take her out she is good to potty outside. But she does not indicate when she need to go outside if I am not watching her. Am I expecting too much too soon? I always offer much praise when she potties successfully outside and I only try to interrupt her if I catch her pottying inside without scolding her.
8 AnswersDogs1 decade agoFellow Christians: Is God holy because He does not sin or does God not sin because He is Holy?
This question is crucial to an accurate understanding of the character of God but so often misunderstood or not even thought about by sincere believers.
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy are parents today so hesitant to enforce strict (not necessarily harsh) discipline on their children?
As a parent educator and a grandparent, I am dismayed athow often I see parents allow their children to run over them to the point that the parent has lost total control and then reacts very badly in an effort to regain control. Is it so difficult to realize that keeping control is much easier than regaining control??
I'm not suggesting that parents need to keep their children on leashes or anything like that. Only that there must be some form of discipline in the home or anarchy results.
17 AnswersGrade-Schooler1 decade agoWhy do Pit Bulls and Rottweillers have such a bad rep?
Among large breed dogs, these aren't the only two breeds that attack people, but they seem to be the two that get the most bad press. Why don't Dobermans, German Shepherds and Bull Mastiffs get airtime?
13 AnswersMedia & Journalism1 decade agoIf you do not attend church, how could a church interest you in visiting?
I am a Christian involved in reaching people for Christ in my own community and I am genuinly interested in hearing answers to the question. It seems that for too long we have thought that no one had answers but us, so we never listened to what anyone else had to say.
