How do you plan to observe the National Day of Prayer on May 3rd?
Will you pray with others corporately, spend time in private prayer or both?

I hadn't really thought much about it....But I'll probably be praying all day, in the car, at work, and at home. Not much different from any other day...I spend lots of time everyday in prayer so they day doesn't really make a difference. I pray for all the requests I see listed here on YA. (One of those things about having a personal relationship with the Lord...you WANT to talk to him 24/7.)

I don't think a national day of prayer will help when we live the other 364 days acting as if there is no one there to hear our prayers. We should pray every day, not just set aside one day out of the year to complain to God about all the things we ignore all the rest of the time.

i'm sorry you're in a hard spot, yet your answer is to petition God to screw somebody else out of his pastime somewhat? What approximately *their* kin? . the difficulty I even have with you is that if somebody else somewhat of your husband loses their pastime, will you be working around asserting "that's a miracle! God replied our prayers!" probable. yet once you lose your pastime, you is basically no longer badmouthing God, asserting that he did no longer do something for you. for this reason i hit upon posts like yours tense. I do desire that your husband keeps his pastime, yet this is the desire of an atheist on your well being, no longer the reaction from an invisible supernatural 'being'. .
