She has written two novels one which you have read and enjoyed. Her other novel is called "In the Eye of the Sun"

It was published in 1992 and it's about a young Egyptian woman's life in Egypt and England, where she goes to study as a post graduate, set against key events in the history of modern Egypt.

She has also written 2 collections of short stories called "Aisha" in 1983 and "Sandpiper" in 1996.

She has also written a non fiction book called "Mezzaterra" in 2004 and her latest is a collection of short stories called "I Think of You" published in 2007.

    Why not read them all.

Have just noticed that you have posted this question twice.

Have a great time in Egypt and happy reading!

Ohhhhhhhhh..... you have to read AISHA , i did twice it is highly unusual and richly impressive novel.

The 8 Chaptersof Aisha form a cycle in which lives converge in London. Cairo, Alexandria and Paris ,in which Aisha comes and goes from focus, always to return again.

read about it in the sight http://ahdafsoueif.com/Books/aisha.htm

    best of luck
