Do you have the skills? Office software, typing, copy machines, printers?

Can you type a business letter? Do "ten-key"?

If you have the skills, your best bet is to either convince a temp agency recruiter that you are professional and willing to start at the bottom and learn.

Or, dress up in a suit and go in person to all the small businesses in your area and drop off a resume/cv highlighting your education, training, skills and a couple personal references. Make sure you include a cover letter that focuses on your willingness to start anywhere to gain the experience. Make sure you maintain good eye contact and practice a firm, professional hand shake.

Then call back once a week or so and check to see if they have ANYTHING. I started my accounting career without a degree and as a copy girl. We all start somewhere.

In the meantime, if you go to college, or attend a church, or work with a non-profit, go and volunteer to do "office" type work. Many places need volunteers to work on newsletter, do mailings, type names & addresses in databases, etc, etc. This voluntary experience is invaluable if you do not have "real" experience in a job. And it makes your heart feel pretty good to do it too.

Work on acquiring office skills. Increase your typing speed, familiarize yourself with Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, learn how to use a fax machine and a copy machine. Any clerical skills you can add to your resume will be to your benefit.

You will have to start in an entry level position, but even those are hard to come by with absolutely no experience, so make yourself look more attractive to potential employers by boosting your skills.

Nobody is born with experience. Don’t worry someday you will certainly get a chance to work but you should know and study theoretical and principle of Administration and prepare yourself ready to go into action before chances knock your door.

Next, do not hesitate to accept junior level position if any company provide you an opportunity to join in their company unless you have obtained first class academic qualification.

After all, in my opinion administration means day to day check out and monitor functions of any kind of enterprise where extra skill of diplomacy and political, knowledge; laws and rules related with enterprise most needed for any person to be a successful administrator

Well, If you want to get an acual job I sudgest you go with a big company such as Mcdonalds because they train their staff extreemly well and offer many courses to them. This way you get your job experiance, some extra money and some skills to use later on in your life.

Start out looking for an office junior post and work your way up. this way you gain the experience you need and the employer doesn't gets the kind of employee they are looking for.

there are lots of ways around this, if you live in the UK there are many colleges/training providers that will help you to acquire the skills you will need to have in order to have a successful career. most of these can be provided for free of you are in reciept of benefits, but if you're not then they can still be fairly inexpensive. get yourself down to one of these places and get the skills first, then apply to employers. you will find that they are more likely to take you on if you are showing that want to progress. you're not going to start on a fantastic wage but you have to start somewhere, and the only way is up..... good luck

Only one thing to do, as with any job, and that's start at the bottom. Office Junior is your only real option.
