Travel teaches me much, like a frog out of the well. There are so many diversity in this world of ours. Each with their own uniqueness. You just cannot assume that everyone lives the same way. Example, look at contentment. In the cities, people are trying so hard to make a living to be contented. They have modern luxuries, but these are not enough. They continually keep searching. Travel to outlying countryside where modern luxuries are not a necessity but an indulgence. Yet the folks are contented with their simple life. They are also more trusting of you than city folks.
Traveling through different countries open my eyes to different significance in ways of life. The treasure of family bonds in eastern culture compared to the desire of independence in the west. Different eyes different views. And much cannot be learned from textbooks. Only by looking with your own eyes and keeping an open mind can you read the different meaning of life.

Traveling is not just seeing the new; it is also leaving behind. Not just opening doors; also closing them behind you, never to return. But the place you have left forever is always there for you to see whenever you shut your eyes. Through travel I first became aware of the outsideworld; it was through travel that I found my own introspective way into becoming a part of it. Through travelling one learns to appreciate more of our own culture and tolerant of others.

Travel teaches me that this world is an amazing place and that people, even though they live different lifestyles, are the same everywhere.
Travel broadens the mind.

Sawatdee Khap...........
I've travelled the whole world, been to every continent (except Antarctica). My job involves a lot of international travel and dealing with foreigners in many countries.
What travel has taught me is that people are the same everywhere you go; we all have the same problems, families etc etc etc.

Lot's of respect (in any way) for the country/people you visit.
Opening up your mind for other cultures/customs/foods and last but not least to learn other languages (also basic is OK)!
