How could a person be removed (totally) as top answerer in a category?

this can only be done if:

1. another person gets to the top,beating the top answerer with more points.

2. if the yahoo account of that person is deleted for various reasons but normally, from too many violations.

it seems yahoo is doing some upgrading or there's a glitch again in their system. i hope it will soon be fixed..

I'd like to know that same thing! I think, tho, that it has to do with the latest changes that they made in Yahoo Answers. I was in the Top Ten answerers list for the category of Yahoo 360...I was actually #2. But now...I have disappeared from the Top Ten. I know for a fact that I have more answers than the current person in the #2 position....alot more, I was at least in the 800 some odd range...the person there now has only #300 some odd. If I remember correctly...I think they changed it to where whoever has a higher PERCENTAGE of "best answers" gets to be in the Top Ten...NOT the person with the MOST Best Answers. I have a percentage of 62%, and the person in the #2 spot for Yahoo 360 category has 66%. You would think that I would at least be in the #3 spot then wouldnt you? LOL....Oh well....Que Serra Serra

When they are falling behind the others who gained more best answers then they in the given category. Or the profile has been deleted.

get more best answers (in that category) than them.
