Lasix eye surgery questions?

Most reliable lasik surgeons have group sessions to teach what the operation is all about. In this 1 hour session, you learn how it is done.........what to expect immediately after, how long it will take to see the best that you will be able to see after the operation........................what to do and not do for a couple of weeks afterwards, as well.

My choice for my own lasik surgery, was to call all the best eye surgeons in my area and speak to the office personnel, about who they thought was doing the best operations in our area. I found that the office personnel of every office went to the same lasik surgeon. I went to have my private session, to see if my eyes were 'good candidates' for the operation, and to see how much it would cost me at this doctor's office.

Then, I was told that this particular lasik surgery doctor had a free group meeting once a month, and that from the people who attended, one would have his/her name drawn, to have it done for free. I went, I listened, and I won.

My eyes just zoomed into being able to see, right away. I am thrilled to pieces about the surgery. Still, I see people, every day, at my store, who have gone out of the area to have the same surgery done, who had very BAD results.

Check out the percentage of positive results the lasik surgeon has had, before you consider one. I really try to warn people to stay clear of those 'cheap and fast' lasik surgery places that are so often advertised.

I had Lasik surgery about 9 years ago, at a cost of 500 per eye. I was legally blind but it was correctable with lenses. My glasses were very thick until I paid extra to have them ground thinner. My contacts were -10's. I could see immediately after the surgery. It was so amazing that it actually made me cry. It only took seconds (literally) per eye. The healing process took a while and cost me quite a bit in eyedrops for the first year. It didn't hurt, but it was little uncomfortable. My vision prior to surgery was 20/200. After surgery it was 20/30 in one eye and 20/40 in the other; a remarkable improvement. My bottom line, it was definately worth it!

Imus didn't get fired for being white. He got fired for being stupid. As a result of his stupidity, the sponsors of his programs withdrew their advertisements, which meant the stations were losing millions of dollars. His employers were faced with the decision of either letting him go or letting those millions of dollars in revenues go. I think they made the right decision. Anyway, to answer your question, my sister-in-law was blind as a bat and since she has had Lasix surgery her vision has improved drastically. It is kind of pricey, I think she paid around $3,000 dollars but she says it was money well spent. I am sure your son will benefit greatly from it and will definitely be thanking you. okay my mum had this surgery i dont know about the costs (i think it was around a couple of thousand) but i had to take care of her for a few days after, eyedrops etc. your eyes will be quite sore for a few days (maybe less it depends) but once the initial period is over her eyes are perfectly fine. :D hope that helps

Since he has poor vision your best bet is to call and talk to his eye doctor about it. Only he can advise you if it would be effective for him etc.
