Why was Jesus Christified in the Bibble?

What else would you do with a Jew at Easter time?

I am thinking of producing my own "Do-It-Yourself Easter Kit". I am going to provide a packet of nails, a hammer, and two lengths of timber (all properly packaged, of course). Just as in "batteries sold separately" the buyer would be responsible for providing their own 33-year-old Jew.

In the days before Christ, the Jews were taught about right and wrong. If they did something wrong, they were supposed to do something to make the situation right.

Jews used to grow their own food and supplies. There were no stores to go to. They not only made their own clothes, but made their own pots and pans to cook dinner in too!

The way they were taught to atone for a sin was to sacrifice something important to them. Sacrifice is to give it up or give it back to God. Food was important to these folks, so many times, sacrificing the best food was the thing to do.

There were grain sacrifices, and there were animal sacrifices. Both had to be the very best. An unblemished animal was one that was as close to perfect as possible. The animal had to be given up back to God. It was killed by the priests, and burned on the altar. God could tell if it was a good sacrifice by the smell. If it was a "good aroma" God knew that the sacrifice was really the best.

When the Jews had really learned about being good and being sinful, God took his plan one final step. He sent His son, Jesus, to earth, to become a perfect man, without sin.

Then, when the time was right, Jesus would take all of the sins of the world, (past present and future). He took all of those sins away from us an put them on His own shoulders. He carried them to the cross as if He had committed each and every one of them, then paid the price for them all.

The price for Sin is death.

So, with the Death of Jesus, he became the Final sacrifice. He paid the price for every sin in the world, so we would not have to pay it ourselves.

If you accept this Gift of Forgiveness from God and Jesus, then when your die, and your soul must be judged, Jesus will be right next to you, sort of like your lawyer in court. Just when God gets ready to pass judgement on your sins, Jesus steps up and reminds God that you are one of His, and the price has already been paid. No punishment necessary.

The bible may be hard to read. Perhaps you are a child who hasn't had much bible study. So maybe you ought to get a straight answer.

In the bible, Jesus was sent to the cross by a Roman, Pontius Pilate, sent to the country of Jesus to rule on Rome's behalf. You may hear that Jews are blamed for this crucifixion. This is because, according to the gospels, Pilate was pressured to sentence Jesus by Jews. If you're wondering, Jesus was also a Jew. But Jews wanted him dead because of what they considered to be his blasphemous claim of being the son of God. But Pilate sentenced him for treason saying that he claimed to be king of the Jews. One hears countless controversies about all of this. It is something one has to decide for one self as to what one believes.

Jesus was crucified in the Bible. Read the 1st 4 books of the New Testament. God sent His Son here to Earth to die on the cross and bear the sins of the world so that we could have forgiveness and a way to spend eternity in Heaven with God. It took a perfect man to do this, that is why God sent His only Son. There are so many directions I want to go to explain this. So much I could say... As a metaphysical lesson to us all; we may Christ ourselves.

Christ is the Messiah...He is the Messiah.
