Why does everybody hate bush?
i mean, if we all hate him so much, then why did we elect him in the first place? isnt this just mostely people blaming him for everything instead of taking responsibility themselves?

because they're not in his place and want something to complain about. the media bashes him with everything they have. they only show what will fire people up; they don't tell the truth about him & the things he's tried to do that were good, but got shut down. [PRIME EXAMPLE: Hurricane Katrina. he tried to send in supplies & help, but since the govt. there is democratic - they denied him.]
simple as that.
i don't hate him.

First of all, not everybody "hates" President Bush. He still has his cadre of supporters, most of whom fall into one of a few categories: fundamentalist Christians (who like his stances on social issues); neo-conservatives (who--like hardcore liberals--see the world in black-and-white terms); hardcore fiscal conservatives (who like his tax cuts, and are willing to overlook the deficits); misguided "patriots" (who follow the "My Country right or wrong, but my country right on" way of looking at the world); and a small group of people who actually think (rather than simply feel) he is doing the right thing.
I think he was re-elected mainly out of fear--his election advisers and operatives successfully convinced the American public that only a Republican administration could protect the nation from terrorists. Isn't it amazing (and convenient) how often the nation entered a state of "High Alert", or a new military campaign was begun right before an election? Manipulation!
I don't hate Bush, but I believe he should be impeached and removed from office. Either he is a liar who knowingly misused information to manipulate the American people into accepting a war of choice in Iraq, or he is an incompetent who doesn't know how to manage the country. Take your pick: "liar" or "incompetent".

This man has screwed up everything he has done in his entire life, his failures have been kept secret, the fact that he is an alcoholic is not widely known, his going AWOL from the National Guard is kept under wraps as much as possible, why he got elected goes to prove influence and money can accomplish almost anything!

You're partly correct in that people can't admit failure and that they voted for Bush and they don't want to blame themselves so they blame him. But Bush has been an incompetent and lately an unethical president at best so there's plenty of reasons why he's not a good president.

bush is dangerous.... he's trying to follow in Hitler's foot steps... he already tried to extend his presidency one year because of the war in Iraq... will he try to do the same by making war on Iran this term? He's already limiting the rights of the Americans... under his presidency he's looking to put up walls around the country... he's limiting travel in and out of the states...

I am somebody and I don't hate our POTUS. Be careful about engaging in hyperbole.

Most people who voted for him didn't realise what a screwup he'd be.
