What was the most ridiculous thing you ever saw posted in the Hockey section?

Yah I saw the Crosby thing, that definatly was ridiculous, i dont know about the craziest of all time, people put some stupid stuff on here though

THIS QUESTION and also one that said what hockey player is the hottest! also someone saying that the Gretzky trade to L.A. was the worst thing to ever happen to Hockey or someone saying that Crosby was better than Gretzky "at his peak".

I'd rate 60% of the questions are lame. "Who thinks my team is good?" Lame question. Asked by 100,000 12 yo with no imagination.

Anyone who compares Crosby to Gretzky is lame. "Get some game tapes before asking that question" you need to see 99 play a few hundred games before making that comparison.

Anyone who says a question is for any team fans only. This isn't house league, you're plkaying with the big boys. Throw it out to all of us or go ask your friends in your tree fort.

I don't have specifics (well I do but) just anything that really doesn't have to do with hockey or people thinking they know about hockey and coming up with crazy questions that make no sense! I would have to say there were a few questions about hockey from some one in Canada basically bashing US but they really weren't making any sense! stay on topic people!

Those are good candidates. For me, the worst is the question:

"Do you know (player name here) e-mail address or phone number? OMG he is soooo hot!"

As for actual hockey content, and this will sound weird coming from a Flyers guy, but I am alarmed at the lack of credit for the Islanders dynasty of the 80's.

probally that this guy hates sidney crosby and didnt back it up with any good reason other than he is always int he media being compared to gretzky.

he is an AMAZING player.

and Crosby will be better than Gretzky at his peak, in my opinion, just not yet

give him 5 years.

and just mainly anybody dis respecting crosby makes me so mad.

Anyways, like i said my last post......there seems to be more choices each passing day.

But the one about the Sharks faking their injuries are climbing the charts as the most ridiculous for me.

I love the old "how bout such and such a team" and "haha doesn't so and so suck" questions. Like anyone cares, right? My favorites are the "isn't my team the greatest and nobody can beat them and shut up if you disagree with me because I will poison your cat and your grandma" types of questions, though. People, people, let's up our NHL IQs please!
