should we deport people for traffic violations?
such as illegal parking, speeding, running stop signs, etc.
after all, it's "against the law" right?
9 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoHow can I get more velocity on my serve?
I last hit an ace about 10 years ago and I think THAT time the wind was blowing away from me about 100 mph.
I am getting desperate here, people are setting up for returns IN the service box!
6 AnswersTennis1 decade agoWhat was the most ridiculous thing you ever saw posted in the Hockey section?
I can't decide between someone saying that the Gretzky trade to L.A. was the worst thing to ever happen to Hockey or someone saying that Crosby was better than Gretzky "at his peak".
What have you seen?
14 AnswersHockey1 decade agoHas anyone else had JUST ABOUT ENOUGH of the racial slurs here tonite?
On BOTH sides.
It has NOTHING to do with legal vs. illegal
DO NOT TELL ME THAT THIS IS NOT HAPPENING.
I have reported it. BOTH SIDES.
What else do you suggest we do?
28 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoIf an immigrant can't or won't speak English, how does that hurt YOU personally?
....Other than extra cost to print Government Documents in other languages. That one I understand. I agree these should be printed exclusively in English. My question is this: how does using another language in someone's PRIVATE life negatively affect me?
49 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWho would you start tonight? Giguere or Bryzgalov?
Giguere is your #1 Goaltender (although you tend to deny that, calling your Goalies 1A and 1B), won the Conn Smythe in 2003, and the issue he had with his infant's help seems to be resolved or at least better.
Bryzgalov has been playing real well, and Wednesday made 23 saves on 24 shots as the Ducks won 2-1 in regulation.
6 AnswersHockey1 decade agoWhy do people just outright DENY there is racism in this section?
20 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWhy are 99% of people in this section incapable of answering a question?
29 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoIf your team is in the playoffs, what is the Key to winning the Stanley Cup?
The Ducks need Giguere to play like he did in 2003, not 2006.
13 AnswersHockey1 decade agoIf your season is over, what does your team have to do to make the playoffs next year?
My Kings desperately need to find a top-notch Goaltender.
5 AnswersHockey1 decade agoDo you think EVERYBODY has Human Rights?
Do you think Everyone has human rights as explained in http://www.ohchr.org/english/law/ccpr.ht... ?
If No, why not?
If Yes, why do you think there are repeated posts here saying illegal aliens have no rights?
15 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWhat playoff team(s) will be victims of a first round upset and why?
14 AnswersHockey1 decade agoIs "point-gaming" acceptable?
If you think it's no big deal, consider that people who are reading questions from this section to LEARN THE GAME are being misled.
And yes, I am going to stay with this, dwell on this, even "have PMS" until more of you "get it".
8 AnswersHockey1 decade agoShould a "top contributor" badge actually MEAN a person gives THOROUGH answers about Hockey?
Or if someone is obviously "gaming the system" is that OK?
Personally I think there are plenty of people here trying to LEARN our wonderful sport, they should not be misled by FRAUDS.
What do you think?
10 AnswersHockey1 decade agoIf all people I work with are left-handed does that mean all left-handed people work with me?
I am posting this in this section for a reason.
Think about it.
8 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoIs answers really helping anybody?
In my experience when I ask a question (or look one up for information) it seems like AT LEAST 50% of the answers are Spam, insults, personal attacks, "idk", misinformation, rants about "in your OTHER question you......", or "answers" where it is clear the user didn't even read the question.
Is this really rocket science?
Or does anyone have some stories to share where they DID get correct or useful information?
By the way I do NOT mean responses where I disagree with the opinion given. That is fine (in fact exactly what I'm looking for) WHEN it ANSWERS the question.
9 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhy do so many post responses that flat out don't answer the question?
What IS IT with this lately? Am I the only one noticing this? Are they entitled to 2 points? Should I report them?
15 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat is the all time DEFENSIVE team?
Your hypothetical team is playing for "all the marbles". The good news is you are leading by a Goal, there is only one minute left to play. The bad news is your opponent has pulled the Goalie and has put these 6 players on the ice to try to tie it:
Wayne Gretzky
Bobby Hull
Guy Lafleur
Mike Bossy
Mario Lemieux
Paul Coffey
The good news is you can put ANY 5 players that ever played of your own out. Who is at LW-C-RW-RD-LD
Notes:
* If you REALLY think one of the 6 players your opponent has is the right person to put out, you can "clone" him, but be prepared to justify it.
* For "extra credit" you can tell us who you have in Goal.
* If you are putting a player outside his normal position (for instance you have 2 centers), justify that ("he can play the off wing", or "in case my center gets kicked out of the faceoff circle"), something like that.
Try to explain your choices a bit, not just give 5 names
