the only difference in what's happening now and what's happened in the past, is that now you can read every idiot's thinking because they can post it on the internet.

and because of the internet, everyone's ideas can get spread super fast now. unfortunately, some of those ideas are extremely idiotic, such as the guy asking if it was okay to have extermination camps for mexicans.

i think that was just a stupid joke meant for a laugh.

You are suggesting that something posted on Yahoo Answers totally reflects all within the United States?? Just how much 'power' do you really think that Yahoo Answers has??

I see people posting over the top comments. Such gets people to at least look at what they are going over the top about - in this case, illegal entry into the United States and the problems that such has caused.

I live in a border state. I see first hand the problems that illegals are causing. I see the schools being burdened with kids that do not know English and have parents that not only can't speak the language of this country - but can't read and write in their own language. With the 'no child left behind' approach to education - reaching towards the highest goal is no longer what is happening in education. Instead it is staying at the lower rungs in the hopes that they can get a child that has no right to even be within this country up to speed of what used to be the level for kids their age 4 years younger - meaning it is lower the education standards.

I had a heart attack on a Saturday. 12 hours after I entered the emergency room - I FINALLY was admitted to a room. Coming into the emergency room - I have seen it FILLED with people not able to speak English . The hospital that I went to is now in a very hard place as so many illegals are using the emergency room for anything but an emergency - and they do not pay their bills. They can't turn them away - because of laws - not till they are sure that they are not in serious medical crisis. Trust me - 'pink eye' can wait and be treated by the general practitioner on Monday and not be getting treatment in an emergency room. But doing such means that they will have to pay the bill upfront - and - they don’t want to pay. End results of such - waits are HOURS long. When I broke by leg, it took over 8 hours to get looked at because of the misuse of emergency services in my area. A hospital that if things don’t change soon - very well will not be able to keep its doors open.

I could go on and on. Point is people have to wake up to the problems that are there. They are not imaginary - they are REAL!

Ask those that live on the border and let them tell you what they have done to their property as the thousands of illegals cross their land - destroying crops by tromping on them, cutting their fences and the loss of their livestock. Ask how many of them have been robbed and threatened by these supposed 'hard working people that are only looking to work and make for a better life' - all the while ripping and destroying another's life and property.

So if a comment that is over the top gets someone to actually take the time to check out what is happening within this country because of illegals breaking immigration laws - sad that such is the only thing that will get them to look at the world around them - - but thank GOD that they are finally looking!

It's because we are such an ignorant country,someone yells loud enough and we think they are saying something important,we are so deluded into thinking that American Idol and Dancing with the stars are so significant we can't stop watching. The illegals are not to blame for this huge problem,the U.S.government created it when they ratified NAFTA, the truth is we all got shafted, the companies took the jobs south of the border,the people there,making $1.00 a day ,can not survive so the only thing they can do is come illegally by droves.Now we are in a pickle and the scapegoats are the illegals.

The extreme ideas of a few does not necessarily represent "what is starting to happen to this Country". People are rightfully fed up, frustrated and want something done. I think your links show a few isolated extreme ideas. I think their questions are not actual suggestions but more like extreme hyperbole (as in Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal").

It wont matter because it will never come to that. The fact that they are creating the North American Union as we speak is much sicker than those links you posted.

Although I WILL agree with you that people should read the links BEFORE answering and not totally disregard the sites that the person who asked the question posted.

What is starting to happen? Free speech? That's nothing new, we've been able to say things no matter how repugnant since our birth as a country.

Now, if anyone started ACTING on some of the repugnant idea people spout that's another situation.

Those questions do not scare me, first of all there are not going to be any extermination camps here, such an idea is insulting to educated Americans. Secondly, If you are going to be fearful of violence, what you should be concerned with is a pending civil or revolutionary war. There is allot of serious discussion about going to war on Anti forums.

America has always had to fight for the freedoms we have,Citizens did not come here and demand a free ride like the illegals do now,disrespecting the flag and gringos,breaking the law is a crime.IF EVERYONE DOESENT HAVE TO FOLLOW THE LAWS,WHY HAVE THEM??? Illegals wouldnt have any reason to come here if it were like other 3rd world countrys,now would they.Americas freedoms were not free and doubtfully ever will be,but its nice you enjoy them at others expence.When you or your familily is directly effected by illegals,either by crime or disease,or maybe you will never get a cent of the s.s you pay into,maybe then you will see the real terrorist problem in this country.

No comparison to what happened in Europe and you should be ashamed of yourself for even insinuating such. Deport ALL illegal immigrants, immediately, no exceptions. Enforce all of our immigration laws to the max and consistently. Problem would be solved very soon.

I would just like to point out to Need that getting President Bush impeached isn't going to solve our immigration problem. I say that we either help Mexico with its problem or invade Mexico and get a few new states, of course to make everyone happy we'll teach them English.
