should we deport people for traffic violations?

such as illegal parking, speeding, running stop signs, etc.

after all, it's "against the law" right?

Update:

I don't mean just "illegal aliens", I mean ANYONE.

Since they are "breaking the law", by everyones logic here they should be deported, right?

Update 2:

I also didn't ask if we CAN, I asked if we SHOULD.

And nowhere did I use the words "illegal alien".

READ the question please, people.

No, that is just an excuse. Everyone in this country including americans someday somewhere can accidentally make a traffic mistake, and that doesnt mean that your life has got to be hcaged completely. It would not be fair, pay the fine just like everyone else, they hav efamilies just like you and me. Separating families is already what america is known for why make it more ridicoluos for?

you can not deport citizens, but if illegals are caught period they should be deported whether it is a traffic violation, peddling for work or just standing around. These people should be deported and put a lifetime ban on them, harsh punishment so they do not attempt to return.

If a person is pulled over even during a routine traffic stop and is found to be here illegally yes they should be deported. Its the law they broke it and they need to pay the price for their arrogance for snubbing our laws.

Depends on where you live, if your in Europe then you can't. EU rule state that you can't deport people unfortunatly.

If not then i think a slap on the wrist and a kick up the **** would work for a first offense, but in the case of a repeated offense....

if they are illegal immigrants then yes

additional law breaking no matter how 'trivial' is not the reason for them being deported ......they should be sent packing because they are illegal immigrants

Non-US citizens are deportable for convictions of crimes of moral turpitude. Felony DUI would qualify, speeding would not.

With the way certain organizations are clamoring to keep illegals here I seriously doubt that the law would do that.
