Vegan Christians?
Ok, I don't *really* want to get a bunch of flames, but Christian Vegans - where do you stand on the feeding of the five thousand? Jesus-tastic miracle = good, lots of poor fishies getting eaten = bad. Is that why Catholics feel so guilty all the time?
I should point out I'm not having a crack at anybody of any belief, religious or social. The question is more how do ultra militant Vegans, not all Vegans mind, reconcile the fact they hate *anybody* eating meat, when the major proponant of their faith indulged himself.

I'm not a vegan, but I hope these vegans won't blow my head off when I say this. It is true that Man was originally created to eat plants, however, during the great flood, meat was added as supplementary diet.
There may be no such thing as mandatory vegan christianity, as Christ even served fish and ate meat. Veganism in Christianity is merely a lifestyle, as True Christianity allows you to choose which lifestyle is beneficiary for you.
If these so-called Vegan Christians really try to prove that man was created to eat meat, then they are slapping God as God allowed man to eat meat, specifically, Beef and Fish. The restrictions to dietary recommendations however pointed against Pork, Crustaceans and certain birds. However, that dietary law was only given to the Jews.
Peter was given the chance to eat "un-clean" animals which God said, "Do not proclaim unclean those that I have made clean", thus giving Christians the freedom to eat whatever they like. Except blood of course....

I'm not Christian, but I don't think this is a fair question. Like most vegans, I don't think Christian vegans would say that all people (through all time) should never (or never have) eaten any flesh. While I think the less meat that is consumed per person the better off our planet will be but I can't expect 100% compliance from over 6 billion people.

Yeah, yet Jesus grew to become right into a chippie too. i'm in college to be a librarian, not a chippie, i don't think of that's a ethical predicament as some distance because of the fact the church is in contact. In different words, i don't think of that we are required to stay as Jesus did precisely to not be considered incorrect. incredibly, if Jesus toured a production facility farm right this moment, i don't see him being down with that. additionally, people who pick to make the factor that the Bible condones ingesting meat oftentimes forget approximately with regard to the area in Leviticus approximately not ingesting shellfish, beef, and meat and dairy whilst cooked/served at the same time. useful some human beings shop kosher, however nearly all of Christians savor their Sir Francis Bacon cheeseburgers. that's a double whammy if ever there grew to become into one. i don't think of that those 2 worlds have plenty to do with one yet another, incredibly. fans on the two aspects for useful, yet particularly not at the same time unique.

If you go to the beginning of time...to the Garden of Eden...mankind was created to only eat everything that grows from seeds (Genesis 1:29).
Something such as being vegan or vegetarian is personal choice; not religion.
