This Has Been Puzzling Me. . . . . . .For Those Who Believe In The Global Warming Theory .. If You Believe In

Global Warming , then do you also believe the Bible ?

The Bible clearly describes what your theory says !!

Or do you write that off as coincidence too ?

Update:

I'm really glad that so many of you have expressed such an interest in the Bible !!

This is very encouraging for all of us . I would suggest that all of you start in the Book of Genesis and then proceed forward from there .

And by the time you get to Revelations , your minds will be cleansed of whatever it is that's been stopping you from reading it . Thus allowing more love and rational thought to grow . Boy I Love Yahoo. . . . Don't you !!!

Update 2:

Mr. Danger - You may be dangerous because I did not call anybody any names whatsoever . And the fact that your eyes told you that I did . . . is very, very, dangerous !!

It's almost impossible for anyone to actually say. The Earth's climate moves in cycles, some of which we may very little about what impacts that extreme changes in weather that ultimately affected the life on the planet at the time. The world floods. The Ice ages. The Volcanic ages. Typhoons. Hurricanes. When aren't we under some weather.

I tell people I don't care what the weather is. I'll worry if there's no weather. Al Gore, like chicken little, fears the sky is falling...and global warming is going to get us all. It may be inevitable. We may have some control, especially regarding saving our forests worldwide. For the obvious reason. The Bible is not an oracle. It's writing are symbolic are the changes to occur: in the spiritual hearts of men and women. I think the Bible is a great guide for how to behave toward one another, but not a crystal ball?

Buddy...you're barking up the wrong tree.

    Here's 'most likely' what's happening....

    1. Our Sun is nothing but a nuclear reaction. Don't know about you...but last I heard nuclear reactions cannot be predictable. So with that in mind, the Sun is running a bit hot....also explains why Mars is also experiencing global warming. If that's too much for most to understand....take a look at amateur radio....we constantly watch sun spots and flares to know how and when we can get our transmissions the fartherest without much power!

    2. Human beings are such a tiny, insignificant part of the living, breathing planet (think fleas on a huge dog).

And if that's not enough....here's a thought....STOP CUTTING DOWN TREES!!!! They absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen...amazing isn't it....I learned THAT many, many years ago in GRADE school!

This is a con to exploit money from us. If you remember in the 70's it was global cooling. What caused the last ICE AGE? Was the dinosaurs refining oil? Did they too cause Global warming. Just another way to blame America first.

TO those who say it is a fact, it is not. It is a consensus among some scientists. It has not been proven fact.

The current alarm [over global warming] rests on the false assumption not only that we live in a perfect world, temperaturewise, but also that our warming forecasts for the year 2040 are somehow more reliable than the weatherman’s forecast for next week.” —MIT meteorology professor Richard Lindzen

i think of there might desire to be extra debate on it. The voice of the human beings rejecting worldwide warming isn't heard plenty. And whilst it relatively is heard is forged in a conservative viewpoint as a replace of a medical one. Which i think of leads human beings to misconceive it through fact of political biases. i think of there's a lot of info asserting that there have been climate modifications contained in the previous. yet worldwide warming accepts that and many times states that it relatively is probably being accelerated by using emissions. yet i'm skeptical of worldwide warming additionally it is so complicated to an uneducated guy or woman. I even have not performed my coaching so I actually have a constrained expertise of all of it till I do. optimistically discussions will stay made and the difficulty can optimistically be dealt with.

Talk about your loaded questions! I believe in God. I do question the interpretations by man of His word. As far as Global Warming Theories....which one you want? It makes sense, to me, that earth has a natural warming and cooling cycle. This has been proved through science/geology, anthropology. It is not too far fetched for me to believe that mankind could be contributing to speeding up that process. Probably not just a coincidence.

You might like to take a look at Michael Crichton's State of Fear.

It has a really good discussion of the global warming issue.

I missed the part in the Bible where it explains global warming...

could you catch me up... I'm really curious at this point...

and to answer the question... many people think that the Bible is more philosophical and not so literal...

I believe in Global Warming, but I don't know a thing about the bible's writings on this. Does it talk about the causes, like excess carbon dioxide, or just that it will happen? If scientists, or people who were careful observers, were able to predict that some day humans would cause the earth to heat up, then that might not surprise me too much.

I guess I'd say I'm agnostic on the bible, and a huge believer in Global Warming and the fact that we'd better do something about it!

Did you catch what the absolute leastest theory is. Global Cooling. More and more scientists are coming out and saying that they think a little ice age is returning.

For the record, I don't beleive in any of the mumbo jumbo!

You don't believe in a scientific theory, you accept it. Scientific theory is a different definition of the word "theory" people use in normal talk. Scientific theories are a high as it can get. Like the theory of gravity. Or the theory of aerodynamics.

I have absolutely no clue what you are saying about the bible. But no, accepting the Global Warming theory doesn't in any way tie to you the bible. It ties you to science.
