The Federal Reserve would be history.

As "Queen" for a day, I would make rape a death penalty crime. The repeat rate for sexual assault is 9 out of 10! The damage done to the victim is irreversible. The proof would have to be iron clad, including DNA. I would make this a world wide conviction. Assuming I would have that kind of power...I would sprinkle in a little dusting of coercion to "make" people "want" to follow the law.

If that were at all possible, it would be a toss up between personal Federal and state income taxes never progressing to over 8% of one's income OR putting inmates to work to pay back their debts to society OR getting rid of amnesty for Illegal aliens Or restructure NEA to TEACH not INDOCTRINATE THEIR STUDENTS!

YOU can put anything YOU want to into YOUR body. No government, in any jurisdiction, has any say over what you ingest, inhale, or inject.

I would legalize drugs and then tax the hell out of those drugs that are sold. I would then implement federal tax cuts for all income levels. The percentage of federal tax cuts would depend on how much revenue we could generate off of the drug taxes.

Honestly, I would put low risk to medium risk prisoners to work like picking the fruits/veggies, mowing grass, some construction work etc...for no pay or very low pay to pay their debt back to society or if they owe a family money for a fatal car accident. It would give them work ethics and provide government jobs to qualified people, like babysitters with badges.

I would issue an edict that the trade deficit is now illegal we have to export as much as we import (a balance) this would create jobs to manufacture the things the day before we got from china.

This would apply to Wal-Mart as well.

I would make it law for all men to recognize women as equals no matter what the race or colour or creed.

That would then make me the Queen for the day...wouldn't it?

In light of what happened at VT I would change the law about gun control, the only people that could legally own a gun would be law enforcement, farmers and valid hunters. The penalty for being caught with a gun would be a felony and there would be an automatic sentence of at least 5 years and more if you get caught more then once.

Legalize marijuana.

The tax revenues alone would be staggering. It would go far in clearing the national deficit.
