What would be a good dramatic monologue for a 15 year old girl to read in an audition for the Crucible?

    The Actor's Book of Contemporary Stage Monologues: More Than 150 Monologues from More Than 70 Playwrights

    ^-- that is the book that i use when i teach my classes, is is the best book I've found in years, so modern, if you can find it at a library, turn to the back, it gives you by age and its theme, pick from there..its a great book to own as well, ive gone though 4 copies myself...

    Look at other Arthur Miller plays. Sometimes it's nice to have a monologue by the same guy. You can't do one from the crucbile.

    Something from a favorite movie, perhaps? I did solo acting in high school, back in the 90's. One of the peices I did was from Steele Magnolias.

    I know I should actually be answering, but where do you find audtions? I'm sorry! But I can't find any and I'm truly in LOVE with acting.
