How common is it to get leprosy? I need this anwser quick?

it's for my science project and i need a good grade on it

please help

    It is pretty much non-existant in the US. There are still some lepers in places like India. It is also called Hansen's disease, and it can be treated with Dapsone, so it is no longer the incurable death sentence it once was.

    Why not just google it or check wikipedia for more info? I'm sure you will get more info there.
