If it were the exact character with the same strong beliefs and staff, I would vote for him in a minute. Unless he came up against "Dave" or "The American President".
I'd really like it if "Mr. Smith" (Jimmy Stewart, not Brad Pitt!) were on the ballot, someone who really doesn't know politics but loves the country and has strong morals.

President Barlet is my most beloved TV character - hands down my favorite. I liked him because he was a moral foundation full of integrity and intelligence - that's not t mention that I believed in many of the same things written into his character.
I have often said that I wish that I could live in President Bartlet's America - you bet your butt I'd vote for him!
