If I am doing a magic show and I can recreate a trick that has been done on TV (say by Chris Angle, David Blane, or who ever) can I be sued? If I figured it out on my own (without help from anyone involved with another magician), created the props, moves, etc. myself (again without help from anyone involved in the original production of the trick) can I be sued?

I worked on the R4 in Tahitti for just over a month when 9/11 happened and Renaissance went bankrupt. Who owns the ships now? Where are they sailing? Any other info anyone has.

I'm in Canada right now and last night a group came into the bar I was having a beer in to celibrate a same sex engagement. Aparently the couple is getting married in Aug. It was strange because I had no intrest in leaving my wife and having sex with men. I thought it might be me so I asked around and not only did none of the straight guys I asked want to leave their wives or girlfriends...they didn't seem to have a problem with the gay guys getting hitched. I was told that same sex marriage was a threat to all marriage...it just seems not to be true. I just thought that was odd. Have all the anti gay marriage people just been lying?

What do you have to do to use footage from TV news broadcasts in a documentary? Is it in the public domain? How does Fair Use apply? Any info would be great. Please source if you can.

I'd like you all to tell me the story of how you waited until you were married to have sex and then how it was only for making a baby. You all seem to be so moral (how if the woman had just kept her legs closed she'd be okay). What's it like to only have sex as many times as you have children?

Every time there's an election candidates can't seem to go ten seconds without mentioning their service or attacking their oponents lack of it. Both the left and the right do it. I think that anyone who defends their country should be applauded (even if you might disagree with one war or another), but is someone a better choice for office based on the fact that they served?

It made me ill (not acctually). It's what I figure a SNUFF film would be like. I love horror and I don't mind violence or gore in movies, but Imprint just went way to far.

Conservitives stopped calling liberals wimps and trators and if Liberals stopped calling Conservitives idiots and facists. If both sides stopped hating each other and calling names and started working together and making compromises.

Please.....this isn't an open invitation for Red Sox and Yankee fans to bash the team.
